James graduated from Dublin University, qualifying as a solicitor with Prudential Insurance. He was formerly an in-house solicitor with Prudential and progressed to head of Prudential General Insurance Legal Department.

James started Flanagans in 1996. He has over 41 years experience of dealing with Personal Injury cases including both Claimant and Defendant work.
